A routine traffic stop in Minot turns into a drug bust. Officers approached a vehicle along the 1500 block of 4th Avenue Northwest Saturday night, when they smelled marijuana coming from the vehicle.

A K-9 sniffed the car and found drugs and a loaded firearm inside. Brian Sweeney, 46, of Minot was arrested for possession of meth and marijuana and being a felon with a firearm.
