Attorney General Issues Cease and Desist Against Northstar Advertising Solutions

North Dakota’s Attorney General issued a Cease and Desist Order today against a company for failure to respond to a Civil Investigative Demand alleged violations of the state’s consumer fraud and do-not-call laws. Attorney General Wayne Stenehjem says the order was filed against Northstar Advertising Solutions, LLC doing business as Network Media Solutions, and William Religo individually of Phoenix, Arizona.

According to the Attorney General’s office, a complaint was filed against Northstar Advertising Solutions after the company allegedly did not provide income to the consumer as promised and did not provide customer support or service. The Attorney General also alleges that the business made calls to a subscriber on the do-not-call list.
