Reading the Tells | Video

Alyssa Marino | 2/4/2013

A body language expert says he can tell when someone is lying. This morning at the Ramkota Inn, he taught the North Dakota Counseling Association how to do it.

Jerry Balisteri showed members how to tell if a meeting is about to go sour, or how to gain a client`s trust. He says body language is the loudest voice of all and it`s meant for personal and professional use.

"Would you like to know if someone is nervous or about to leave or wants to leave? Or if someone is tired? Would you like to know if someone is being deceptive in a meeting?"

Balisteri has written a book explaining how he retired from teaching and became a trainer in body language.
