National Guard Unit Receives Alert for Possible Mobilization

The Bismarck-based 814th Medical Company has received an alert notification for possible mobilization for duty in Afghanistan in 2014. The mobilization order affects approximately 65 soldiers. This would be the unit`s first mobilization in support of the Global War on Terrorism, although the 814th did serve on overseas deployment exercises in Ghana and the Democratic Republic of Congo.

They also joined in the flood flight in the Bismarck-Mandan area in 2011.
