Renters Rights Bill

Jessica Roose | 1/22/2013

A group of lawmakers are hoping to pass a bill this session which would help keep North Dakotans from being discriminated against. If passed, Senate Bill 2252 would add sexual orientation to the North Dakota Fair Housing Act and the State Human Rights Act.

A similar bill was proposed in 2011 and passed in the Senate but failed in the House by a vote of 34 to 54.
