Weekend Oil Field Accident Kills One, Injures Another | Video

A man was killed and another injured in an oil field accident in McKenzie County Saturday afternoon. The Sheriff`s Department says a loose pipe hit and killed Michael Krajewski, 49, of Duluth, Minnesota, at a Halliburton fracking site north of Watford City. Authorities say a valve on a rig may have been turned improperly, causing the pipe to disconnect.

Brad Hong, 55, of Halliday was injured.

Halliburton says it`s cooperating in the investigation.
