ND UAS Test Site

You might see more unmanned aircraft systems in North Dakota. Governor Dalrymple is courting the FAA to choose North Dakota as one of six test sites for UAS`s. Initially, the FAA intended to identify the six test sites by the end of 2012, but the selection process hasn`t been completed.

In his executive budget, Dalrymple included one million dollars to support the North Dakota Airspace Integration Team`s work in getting North Dakota selected as a national test site.
