Statewide Travel Alert Issued

The North Dakota Department of Transportation has issued a statewide Travel Alert through Saturday morning. The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for western and central North Dakota late tonight through Saturday morning and a Freezing Rain Advisory for southeast ND tonight through Friday afternoon.

According to the NDDOT, road conditions may be hazardous and some parts of the state may receive heavy snow, near blizzard conditions and dangerous wind chills.

Drivers are urged to use caution. Road conditions can be found by calling 511 or visiting www.dot.nd.gov.
