Grand Forks Air Force Base Finalist for Tanker Mission

North Dakota`s Congressional Delegation announced today that a North Dakota Air Base is a finalist for a new tanker mission. The Grand Forks Air Force Base was selected as one of four finalists to receive the KC-46A aerial refueling tanker mission.

Other bases on the list are: Altus Air Force Base in Oklahoma; McConnell Air Force Base in Kansas; and Fairchild Air Force Base in Washington state.

The Air Force will announce in May which three bases will first receive the tanker mission.
