Cramer Named Vice Chair of Investigations and Oversight Subcommittee

| 1/8/2013

Congressman Kevin Cramer was announced as the Vice Chairman of the Subcommittee on Investigations and Oversight. "I am honored to serve as Vice-Chairman of the Science, Space and Technology Subcommittee on Investigations and Oversight. My experience as the North Dakota Public Service Commissioner will be beneficial as the commission essentially has oversight and investigative duties with electric, natural gas, and coal mining companies. Under this Subcommittee our members will have general investigative authority on all matters within the jurisdiction of the full committee. I look forward to working with Subcommittee Chairman Paul Broun (R-GA) and Full-Committee Chairman Lamar Smith (R-TX) as we implement policies to enhance technology innovation for future generations," Cramer said in a statement.

The subcommittee is a branch of the House Committee on Science, Space and Technology.
