Travel Alert Extended to Bismarck and Dickinson Areas | Video

| 1/2/2013

The North Dakota Department of Transportation has extended a Travel Alert to include Dickinson, Bismarck and surrounding areas. The alert was issued because of blowing snow and icy conditions. The NDDOT says near freezing temperatures this morning have caused snow blowing across roads to partially melt. They say that the roads will refreeze as temperatures fall later today.

A Travel Alert was issued earlier today for the Minot and Williston areas.

While you can still travel, you should use caution. For road conditions, you can call 511 or visit www.dot.nd.gov.
