Two Injured in Interstate Crash

| 12/28/2012

Two people were injured in a crash at 9:30 this morning on I-94 in Cass County. Blaine Weyrauch, 24, of Mandan, was traveling east in a Ford F350 pulling a travel trailer. He lost control on the icy road, crossed the median and into oncoming traffic.

The truck hit a semi, causing the travel trailer to become detatched and the semi to jackknife. Weyrauch and the driver of the semi, John Wankel, 56, from Texas suffered non-life threatening injuries. A passenger in the semi was not injured.

The interstate was reduced to one lane for clean-up. The crash is under investigation by the highway patrol.
