Failed Robbery Attempt

Two Minot residents are in custody after a late night burglary. Around 2:00 this morning, Minot police responded to a call from the Comfort Inn. A front desk clerk reviewed security footage and saw a suspect steal cash from a utility room.

Two suspects then left the scene. A vehicle matching a description provided by the front desk clerk was eventually stopped in southeast Minot. Police were able to find evidence linking Aubrey Wicker, 34, and Wyatt Knutson, 24, to the robbery.

Wicker and Knutson were arrested on multiple charges including burglary, preventing arrest and conspiracy to commit burglary.
