Burglary on Fraine Barracks

Retha Colclasure | 12/3/2012

Bismarck police say someone broke into an unlocked home on Fraine Barracks, stealing a purse with cosmetics and a laptop bag with files. It happened early Friday morning. Police say employees of state radio, the 911 service, saw a suspicious man looking in vehicles in a nearby parking lot around 4:00 that morning, but security personnel were unable to locate him.

The North Dakota National Guard is not commenting on the case, saying it is under investigation by the Bismarck Police Department. They say both entry points to Fraine Barracks are secured. One gate is staffed with security personnel 24 hours a day. The other is card-controlled.
