Broadwell is From Bismarck

General Petraeus` alleged mistress is from Bismarck. Petraeus stepped down from his position as director of the CIA after admitting he had an affair. A U.S. official says the FBI had a tip Petraeus was involved with his biographer, Paula Broadwell. An investigation revealed an affair between Broadwell and Petraeus.

Director of National Intelligence James Clapper learned of the investigation in a phone call from the FBI on election night. Clapper told the White House on Wednesday, according to a senior U.S. intelligence official. But it`s unclear when the FBI probe began.

Broadwell, who`s maiden name is Kranz, was the 1991 homecoming queen and valedictorian for Century High School. She then attended West Point and was also involved in black ops and earned graduate degrees from Harvard and Kings College in London.
