Ag Hearing Scheduled

North Dakota Ag Commissioner Doug Goehring is holding a public hearing on proposed rule changes for dairy inspections, meat and poultry inspections, and anhydrous ammonia programs. The public hearing is at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 4th at the state capitol in Bismarck.

Goehring says proposed changes to dairy, meat and poultry inspection rules bring them in line with federal standards. Rule changes also include the addition of a risk management program for agricultural anhydrous ammonia facilities.
