Tick Season is Here

The North Dakota Department of Health is urging caution during this year`s tick season. They say cases of lyme disease have been on the rise since 2005, noting 59 North Dakota cases in just the past two years.

Health officers recommend wearing light colored and tucked in clothing to prevent tick bites as well as a repellant that contains deet.

Experts say if you do find a tick on you, it`s key that you remove it properly.
