Cigarette Sparks Bar Fight

A man lit up a cigarette inside Chips Casino and Lounge in Bismarck and that sparked a large bar fight injuring at least four people and causing about $1,000 in damage. Police showed up after witnesses called around 10:20 Saturday night.

Police say a manager asked a Wyoming man to put out his cigarette and told him that smoking indoors was illegal in Bismarck. The man refused, then threw his poker chips at the blackjack dealer after he was told to cash out. That led to a fight involving about 15 people.

No one was arrested.
