County to Discuss Boat Ramps

There are still three remaining boat ramps on the Missouri River that are not yet open to anglers.

The Kniefel boat landing north of Bismarck is open to the public. However, Burleigh county commissioners will be taking bids for restoring the area. That area near Misty Waters Marina did not suffer major flood damage.

Instead, high water left behind large silt and sand deposits.

The North Dakota Game and Fish department has installed a metal ramp at the Kimball Bottoms ramp. At today`s commission meeting, members will discuss FEMA reimbursement for that area.
