Hundreds of people stood in line Wednesday at the All Seasons Arena to get the H1N1 shot.
It`s been a long wait for many of these people who have been crossing their fingers that they wouldn`t fall victim to the swine flu.
"It`s the first time any one over 60 could get it," says Garth Johson.
It`s actually the first time any one over 24 was able to be vaccinated, keeping the room at the All Seasons Arena constantly packed.
"We`re number five hundred," says Alicia Gordon.
"We`re number 597 and 598," says Wanda Kalamaha.
That number kept climbing all day.
"This is a preventative measure so that we don`t get it," says Edwin Cantlon.
This is the third swine flu related death in the state. The only way to make sure the number doesn`t grow is to get vaccinated.
"I`m glad there`s this many people out here cause we need to stop this stuff and get on the right track," says Kalamaha.
One by one, the numbers were called and one by one, the long wait was finally over.
