KFYR-TV offers a local and unique opportunity for students (grades 4-9) in the Bismarck and Dickinson viewing areas to write and read a television story with our anchors! "Students do the News" was held at the Kirkwood Mall, Bismarck.

Star Student Award

There are many students who aspire greatness through academics and extra-curricular activities.  Now they can be recognized through KQCD’s Star Student Award sponsored by Western Cooperative Credit Union.  Students will be recognized the first Monday of each month.

To nominate a student, fill out this form (click here) and return it to any Western Cooperative Credit Union office, or drop it off at KQCD-TV.

Double Dollar Friday

We've worked out deals with some of our area's best restaurants and businesses to give you 1/2 off gift certificates - That's right, 50% off food and more! At 9:00 AM each Friday, we'll open up the ONLINE store, but you have to be fast - we are only able to provide a limited number of gift certificates per week.
