CEBE SCHNEIDER
Reporter

Born in Bowman and raised in Dickinson, I'm a true North Dakota girl. That's why it's such a treat for me to bring you the news about what's happening in Southwest North Dakota. Not only do I get to meet all the fantastic people who hail from my part of the state, but I get the privilege of telling their stories.

I graduated from Dickinson State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Speech and Theatre. If you're going to do the news, that's a good combo to have. It's fun to be the only reporter in Southwest North Dakota. I'm used to being unique. After all, how many "Cebe's" have you met?

News was a natural move for me. I'm extremely interested in staying informed and I love to listen to people's stories. Once, when I was about 3, someone said to me, "You sure talk a lot." I replied, "that's because I have batteries in my mouth. You can just call me Cebe Radio."

If you notice that I love to tell a happy story, it's because I'm an optimist and I'm so proud of the things we're accomplishing in our area. Don't think that will stop me from telling the tough ones, but you can count on a silly twist once in awhile when I'm in front of the camera.

My husband Bruce and I have five energetic and precious daughters, and we have been foster parents for almost 15 years to over 30 different boys and girls. It's a total blast! Aside from hanging out with my sweetie and our kids, (and you may not believe I have any extra time) I love to read, spend time in my yard, and organize things. I also enjoy facilitating parenting classes and learning new things. Lucky me, I'm the member of several organization's boards in our community, most of them regard children and youth. Our family is active in church and we love to hang out with extended family.

But enough about me. What's your story? I'd love to tell it. Give me a call at 483-7777 or email me at kqcd@kqcd.com. And don't forget to watch the Roughrider Report on both the Evening and the Night reports, and watch for news stories that highlight our area.
