My passion for journalism began in high school. I was a sophomore watching the daily televised school news on our network when I realized WOW, I want to do this! Well, the rest is history. I graduated from Davison High School in Davison, Michigan (if you pick your right hand up, look at the palm, it is roughly a little bit down from where the thumb meets the rest of the hand.) After that, I attended Michigan State University (Go Spartans!) and graduated with a bachelors degree in journalism. While in school, I had three internships, two in Lansing and one in Detroit.
This experience helped me land my job with KQCD-TV, where I’m confident the scenery of what I have covered in the past will change. I am excited to join the dominant news team of North Dakota and even more excited to have the opportunity to cover what is going on in Dickinson and the rest of the Southwest area. I am proud to be in "Roughrider Country" and pleased to be working with Cebe and the rest of the gang here at KQCD-TV.
